Yes I know I have be MIA for over a week but I have a good excuse...really I do. I have been in full Christmas prep mode...baking, and knitting gifts, and packaging stuff for the post office and trying to get my tree decorated...you get the idea. So unfortunately my blog suffered as a result. However, I think I have things under control again and from tomorrow I will be sharing some of what I have been up to. Here's a sneak peek...
Just a little eye candy of some of what I have in production. All I can say is that my Silhouette got a work out this weekend and definitely earned it's keep.
And also sharing a peek of what my scrap area looks like during the production process...it got a bit worse after I took these photos (lol).

Nothing like a long weekend to get the creative juices flowing...not to mention that it is about 4 weeks to Christmas.
Started some handmade ornaments...can you guess what the color scheme for my tree will be? I got the idea for these from Pinterest of course
Oh and the Christmas card designs have been finalized, stuff has been pulled out of hiding and cards are finally in production.

Sheldon and I noticed this mini carnival setting up at Battleship Cove earlier today and went back with cameras in hand to check it out this evening and take a walk along the boardwalk. Decided to get some shots with my polaroid Instax Mini. Hope you are having a great 4th of July weekend if you are state side.
I have always thought that Harrison's Cave should be listed as one of the natural wonders of the world and after visiting it a few day days ago I still believe this. The beauty of the stalagmites, stalactites , natural pools, rivers and waterfalls is still as breath taking as the first time I saw them. Everyone should add a visit to Harrison's Cave to their bucket list beacuse photos really can not show the true beauty of this island wonder.
Although it seems that Francine and I see each other often before reuniting a few days ago we had not seen each other for six and a half years...not since my dad's funeral. So this Christmas is doubly special since not only am I out of the cold but I get to spend face to face time with my sister.
Actually it is triply special because I also got to meet my nephew for the first time and of course we are surrounded by family and friends.
I cannot ask for a better Christmas! Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
