From Drab to Fab Flip Flops | Pinterest Inspired

I have had these slippers or should I say flip flops for a while now (think I got them at a wedding I went to) but I never wear them.  They were just to blah for me I think.

Then I found this flip flop remake where else but on Pinterest and had an ah ha moment.  Some fabric from my stash, a pair of scissors, and viola...new and improved flip flops.

I pretty much followed the directions in the tutorial and although I like how the the raw edges look I think that for the next one I will use pinking shears to cut the fabric.  I also want to experiment with other ways to achieve this look.
