Sheldon and I took in the Newport Jazz Festival today in Newport, RI.  The music was awesome but it was just to hot (not to mention crowded) to move around taking photos so here are just a few from my Instagram.  Hope you hand a wonderful Saturday!

New to My iTunes

Left London by Marc Robillard.  I first heard his music on this Sun Chips commercial. After looking for more music by him I found his page on Facebook and learnt that his first album would be coming out this year and just knew that I wanted to get it.  I think he has an amazing voice.

I heard the song "All Smiles" by Jess Penner on another blog and just loved her sound so of course had to investigate to see what else she had and really liked the samples of the other songs on her album Love, Love, Love.  She has another album called "Growing in the Cold" that I am pretty sure that I will get as well.

Welcome Fall

It really hit me today that it is really fall.  The trees are almost all changed from that summer green to wonderful colours of fall. Here's a little ode to fall that I made using wordle.

Of course this also means that Christmas is around the corner and I really need to get my butt in gear and get started on my holiday crafting.  After all those cards and gifts are not going to make themselves and the cookies and cupcakes are defintely not going to bake themsleves.
