And we're back. Hopefully you did not notice that we missed a month (oops) but we are back with the September edition of Sister Sketch. This month's sketch is from the Sunday sketch series on the Studio Calico blog and is based on this layout by Nicole Samuels.
Here is what I did with this sketch!
I have had this photo in my to scrap pile for the longest time and it just never seemed to fit any of the layouts I wanted to do. But as soon as I saw this sketch I knew that this would be the perfect photo for it. That's the beauty of sketches, they are sometimes the perfect starting point for a layout and also the perfect inspiration for photos that you may have had in your stash for along time.

I love the mix of three different type of letters for the title. This is a great way to use up those ends of alphabets that you may only have enough letters left to spell one or two words.
